Product Description
VPS Tray Adhesive, manufactured by 3M ESPE, creates tight adhesion
between impression trays and addition type silicon impression materials
from 3M ESPE.
These Instructions for Use should not be discarded for the duration of
product use.

Areas of Use
• Impression trays made of metal, methacrylate, or polypropylene.
• Vinyl Polysiloxane impression materials (not suitable for use with polyether
impression materials).

Precautionary Measures
VPS Tray Adhesive is highly flammable. Avoid electrostatic charge. Keep away
from heat, sparks, open flame, pilot lights, and other ignition sources.
3M ESPE MSDSs can be obtained at www.mmm.com or from your local
subsidiary.

Application
After checking the impression tray for fit in the patient’'s mouth, clean the
tray to prevent any contamination of the adhesive brush.
Use the brush to apply a thin layer of the adhesive to the tray.
Allow to dry completely; 5-15 minutes are ideal.
Carefully close the bottle tightly after use. If present, remove any adhesive
remnants from the threads of the bottle and screw cap with a cloth soaked
in acetone before closing the bottle.

Cleaning
Use ethanol to remove any impression or adhesive residues clinging to the
metal impression tray.

Notes
• Do not pour together small amounts of adhesive remaining in a number of
bottles. Even a slight increase in temperature can cause overfilled bottles to
burst.
• VPS Tray Adhesive does not always provide adequate adhesion to impression
trays made of other plastics or base plates.
• Avoid application of the adhesive to textiles, plastic or varnished surfaces, or
similar areas at all times because its removal without any residue cannot be
guaranteed.
• Use VPS Tray Adhesive only in well-ventilated rooms.
• Rinse with water if the adhesive comes into contact with the skin.

Storage and Stability
Store the product at 15-25°C/59-77°F.
Do not use after the expiration date.

Warranty
3M ESPE warrants this product will be free from defects in material and
manufacture. 3M ESPE MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES INCLUDING ANY
IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE. User is responsible for determining the suitability of the product for
user’'s application. If this product is defective within the warranty period, your
exclusive remedy and 3M ESPE’'s sole obligation shall be repair or replacement
of the 3M ESPE product.

Limitation of Liability
Except where prohibited by law, 3M ESPE will not be liable for any loss or
damage arising from this product, whether direct, indirect, special, incidental or
consequential, regardless of the theory asserted, including warranty, contract,
negligence or strict liability.
